    huge is an understatement....

it was freakin amazing...I only got one round because the guy didn't have much ammo.....I got the classic Ping from the clip though, I think I like that as much as the gun

I also learned that I need to get a gun with a peep site, I am usually usless past about 50-75 yards, with a gun I had never shot that had peep sites I hit a 100 yard steel (about 8 inch circle) with ease.....first time with peep sites, I got to get me some for the vintage model 94 that I posted earlier....

and just because, here is a pic of my 45 lc and ruger mk III

2 things, first a collection is never complete...its like saying your tacoma is done being modded

and second, anyone got a recommendation for a peep site for a winchester model 94 with a manufacture date of 1913?

I could care less if it is period correct or if it will reduce value....it won't be sold. just something that doesn't require gunsmithing

    it's a fun little plinker
ran a few hundred through it so far, only a few feed problems from crap ammo.
Even has an adjustment for different loads.

    Looks sweet too

Nothing compared to the real thing though; fired the FBI model 10mm years ago
edit: a really, REALLY long time ago :anonymous:

not a single bit of recoil...probably has something to do with how freaking heavy a Thompson is...only had to control the muzzle climb

I can't imagine how fearsome a weapon one would be if the correct muzzle break were put on it

the thompson is actually very very high on my list of NFA items to own in my lifetime...there aren't that many on that list (I'm not counting supressors). thompson is actually tied on top with an american 180 (.22 LR full auto with a mag capacity of 165, 220, or 250 rounds).

this is the american 180 http://www.blackforgeweapons.com/product_p/b02049.htm

    that's the benelli M4.

    my wet-dream tacticool shotgun

my AR is a bushmaster C-15 carbon fiber composite upper/lower with magpul accessories
At the time we were looking for a budget AR to build on, stumbled on a pretty good price on the c15 in vegas

I wanted to start a build of my own but now.....

    Appreciate the response.

What kind of AR build would you recommend with a budget around $1500?

my next rifle will be an M1 Garand, I've been wanting one for so long. And once I turn 21 I will be getting a 1911, I want to get a colt or a springfield but then I don't want to drop a thousand dollars. I've heard Rock Island have some good 1911's for ~$400
