Nice, it's pretty addictive. I grew up shooting. Then stopped for a long time. Then my Dad gave me a pistol and I become hooked again. Every time I get a gun, I want another one.

You should vynal wrap the stock pink. Tell him you could have gotten something else sooner, but knew he wouldn't have been satisfied with anything else.

Well, I decided I don't like the aluminum on my AK (it gets pretty hot) and ordered a wood one. What color should I stain it? Whole rifle is black. Was thinking black might look cool.

If you're the type to match furniture to clothing, pink is the only color option.

Minwax has a few shades of pink in their water based stains. Check them out.

 

I've used K-Var plastic (with metal heat guards) on all of mine. I recently upgraded my SBR with Magpul. I'm happy. As far as wood goes, blonde always looks good on AKs.
