Went out of my comfort zone and picked up a CZ P-10 Compact. Definitely like the feel and the trigger better than a Glock.

Already bought an RMR/backup sights and I'll be sending the slide to Jagerwerks for milling.

I'll fight for CZ every day of the week, they really are great guns. Feeling a P10C made me question my P07, they're simply fantastic.

Anybody have an un-modded VEPR AK in 762x39? If so I'll send a 5 and 10 round mag your way, they don't work for me anymore. My vepr now takes regular ak mags and these are now useless. If you are in one of the states that hates the constitution I'll have to do some law reading first. Tell your friendsPic-11042016-001.jpg

I only have two 5.45 x 39 single stack VEPR mags, but no 7.62.

Check eBay, I've seen single stack VEPR mags come up a few times on searches. I've also seen that GunMagWarehouse.com.

Quick search shows they have quite a few different VEPR mags.

Forgot to mention, I had to wait almost six months for CNC Warrior to make and ship that Galil folding stock. It was worth it though.

So recently I got to shoot an Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR), a PPSH41 and PPSH43, a Sturmgewehr STG 44, and a Thompson submachine gun. Was pretty cool to shoot these WWII weapons. The BAR is a beast. Would not like the be in that path of that. The Thompson weighs a ton, would have been a hard to carry all over Europe. The PPSH's were really easy to shoot, as well as the STG44. If I had to choose one, the STG44 was probably my favorite. Reasonably light, but still effective. I can see why that inspired a lot of rifles after the war.

I also shot an M60 which was pretty fun.

@Doughnut Spaghetti That's awesome, an STG44 would be a rare treat to shoot. STG44's still show up in modern conflict surprisingly enough, didn't they find a crate of them in the hands of ISIS recently?

As far as my vepr mags I'm just trying to get rid of them. I tried to sell them for a while but no luck finding a buyer, they're not worth much. Most vepr owners convert to take regular ak mags, like I did with mine.

If you're looking for STG goodness, HMG gunworks is manufacturing several variants in different calibers. .223, 300blk, 7.62x39, and 8mm Kurz. Very cool, but not cheap.

I think you're right about ISIS finding some.

Ahh, yeah my VEPR takes standard mags too. Was already converted when I got it.

    Here's the STG44:

Would be awesome if someone would make them again. Like say a semi auto version that runs on a more common cartridge.

Don't know why I missed that! Yeah, I would love to have one. 223 or 7.62 would be pretty handy and cheaper to shoot. I've seen 22lr version of them, I'll have to check out the HMG one.

Actually looking at them, they aren't as bad price wise as I thought. $1800, I'd pay that if I wanted one bad enough. To bad the fun button is removed. I really like that button.

Me too. One of the big things I like about them is it's a reengineering of the thing in a few ways. It takes STANAG mags, and their STANAG 7.62x39 and 8 Kurz mags are AR compatible, which means decent mags for both calibers in AR's

Can anyone tell me the value for a rifle? Its a amt .22 mag hunter, in 90-95% condition. My .22 forums and online searches have been all over the place value wise, anywhere from $250-600.

I was a police officer for 10 years and always carried the same Glock 22 that I was issued new in 2007. It had a special department serial number and several scuffs from fights and tussles over the years...I put probably 15000 rounds thru it during my time

I turned it in in December of 2016 and it was not reissued. The department recently switched to Gen 5 Glock 17s and the current officers were allowed to tag their issued weapons to be purchased from a local store...the rest were auctioned off to somewhere else...

Today I finally tracked my pistol down and snagged for $309 shipped to my FFL!
