    I have a folder

    In a safe

All guns purchases in one folder
All gun related purchases in another

Both are labeled "warranty info" to keep prying eyes out

Even at 40 that's not a great deal, but that's compared to 10-20 AR mags in all fairness. I'm thankful the MDT mag in my XLR chassis took some slight fitting, it doesn't rattle at all.

    If they steal the safe
They will.most likely get all but one firearm.....

And maybe 21 to 31 rounds.

    If I catch them

They will get some of those rounds.

I posted in a hurry while on a call. I have had issues with them before with incredibly slow shipping. I also had a scope that I know, not believe, I bought from them and wanted to see if I could exchange it but they wouldn’t stating they had no record of it. I gave them both addresses since I had moved within a two week period and had most everything in boxes. I also tried to update my purchase profile and purchases they had no records of scopes - I had receipts for. They had no answer. Messy administrative practices is all I’m saying. I have no issues at this time because I chose to deal elsewhere because of incredibly slow shipping. The comment about the records is an off hand BTW comment.

Anyone have a recommendation for a duty drop holster (not drop leg, just duty mount) for a G17 with streamlight TLR1-HL?

Finding safariland and Gcode but wondering if anyone is running something else. Will be my rangemaster kit, if that helps. Level 2 retention max, not needing more.

True, while not as cheap as AR mags they are cheaper than Browning A-bolt mags, it’s all perspective.

The newer Ruger Americans and Predators will take ar15/ar10 mags. I have an older predator in 6.5 that I'd love to convert over. Only options I have now is run a 450 Bushmaster mag 3+1 compared to the Ruger mag which is 4+1 or get a magpul stock. I've never shot a MVP but I put quarter size groups at 100 yards with the Predator topped with a vortex diamondback HP. My older 700 in 300 win mag is the only other rifle I own that will keep up with it.

Edit: That's off sand bags too, not a lead sled so there is shooter error involved!

Safariland is the way to go, I’m not sure what you consider level 2 (there are 2 ways to measure retention that I’m aware of) but the ALS system is awesome and you you need just a little more retention without adding a hood they have a lock for the ALS that makes the draw similar to the ALS/SLS combo without having the hood.

I’m personally very happy with the 6365 (I believe that’s the model) ALS/SLS for my M&P with a TLr-1, I will be going to the new 7 series when I get a level 3 light bearing for my P320.

I’m leaning towards the safariland. And by level2, I normally just use the universal guide, not safariland. They tend to be the odd one’s out. Level 2 being two methods of retention, like serpa’s, but not junk. Was issued them by the military and I’m not a fan. Level 1 being the friction, 2 being the button releases. Level 3 would include a back strap.

the ALS version would be my recommendation, the Serpa's suck, we had an officer involved in a fight with an addict who had been high for a week straight, 8 minutes of fighting with one cuff on him, no taser, and one female officer with an LP worker assisting (He was former LEO), he ripped the SERPA off of her duty belt, between that, seeing videos of the holster being ripped off, and also the Serpa system getting jammed with dirt/gravel I refuse to use one.
To subdue the suspect they ended up bringing in 4 officers and a dog, both the original officer and LP specialist suffered injuries and the officer was off work for over a year, she's considered partially disabled because of it.

I converted my Saiga "sporter" 7.62x39 back to AK configuration. I was able to modify the mags that came with it so that they function in my converted (restored) AK. I use them for the range only and have not had a problem. My rifle also uses standard AK mags. You may want to check VEPR forums to determine if your original mags can be modified. Good luck.

We are in week 2 of their 3 week 25th Anniversary Celebration, they will probably have something even better next week, 8/20 - 8/26.
Just bought a L. IV 10x12 curved ceramic plate for the front of my carrier for $129 shipped, mind you they are $155 before shipping originally, so this seems like a great deal!

Oh they’re terrible. I only used mine when bouncing between chow hall and office. Would NOT recommend for any duty. Put it back in my gear bag the rest of the time after a colleague gave me a safariland. Gave it to another buddy as it was a beretta holster, and I don’t have a need for it anymore after I got out. Just want one for a G17 now.

Quick question for you folks. I just picked up a new AR, and looking into optics. Narrowed my choices down to a Trijicon MRO or an Aimpoint Micro T-2. Any of you guys have experience with either of these? The price of the MRO is appealing, but the T-2 seems to get better reviews. Any info helps...
