Realistically everybody should have at least 1 lever gun in 30-30, .35 Rem, and .32 Win Spl just to round out the collection. Plus you need at least one Savage 99, preferably in .300 Savage.

No. All bolt action hunting rifles. It kind of runs the gambit from lower cost to customs. I also have to sell my wife’s Savage Lady Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor. It has never been shot. She has a bad shoulder now thanks to some medicine and can never shoot it. Kind of all over the place.

I never got a confirmation email or receipt from GaG. I called my FFL today and they had it in the shop. Picked it up and brought it home. No receipt of the transaction except for my bank statement. Feeling kind of weird about that. I have a Vortex Diamondback en route.

Vortex 3.5-10x50 Diamondback mounted up. Just barely fit on low scope rings:

Yep. There’s just enough gap for a single sheet of printer paper between the scope and barrel.

I like it! I'll have to take a picture of my axis with the SWFA, the fit isn't quite that extreme but it still looks really cool.

This is what I have been building. Been working on a 50-year-old 22-250 with a 34 mm tubed scope. The problem with those two numbers is nobody caters to a 50-year-old gun trying to put on a 34 mm tube in it. So I have been making all of my own stuff to mount it. This is where it was with the lowest products on the market

and this is where it is now
