That AR is more of a utility style AR, but the hand guns are special. I bet you'll fallen love with that Springfield!
Is that just oil on the top of the 911?

Did someone say 1911? How about a Remington Rand M1911A1, or an Rock-Ola M1 Carbine, or the Thompson M1A1? :)

Yeah just oil on all three. The rifle was completely gone through by Colt it has new springs, mag release button, trigger and bore is excellent. I have been in love with that TRP for years now along with that Colt 9mm 1911. I have also been wanting that carbine with LE/Military marked lower Andrew could not pass it up. I have a CZ Scorpion w/ Faux suppressor coming this week as well.

That looks like the same accustock that is on mine. I have the Savage Model 10 FCP-K. A one piece scope mount is easy to change out to.

Stock options are a bit limited but really depends on what you want ot upgrade to. Chassis systems used to be a bit limited (havent looked in awhile) but you could find regular stocks in plenty of options from plenty of vendors.

As for accuracy....you should be quite happy. Mine shoots MOA or better depending on ammo and me.

Back when these came out Savage really hit it off quite well. Fairly cheap, decent stock, pretty decent triggers, and good accuracy

Other than from Remington Fan Bois, I’ve never heard much bad about Savages.

I’d love to get a stiffer stock as this thing is flimsy as all get out, but I don’t think I’m going to step all the way up in to a chassis for what is not much more than a meat getter.

I’m planning on making it to the range tomorrow and see what sort of ammo she likes.

I guess Ive just been happy enough with the stock haha. Mine has liked everything Ive used so far but I tend to use the 175gr the most but really only cause I reload and got a ton of factory seconds for it. Mine is a 24" barrel though

Absolutely, what you’re getting for 700\$800 is absolutely phenomenal. Springfield knocked it out the park with this one!

As you can see, I tweaked mine in little bit. I definitely had to change the sights because I wasn’t a fan of the flat black plate competition sites that were on it

Buddy of mine has a full auto Thompson. After the first shot the next few rounds always seem to miss but its surprising easy to keep on target due to the lower rate of fire and minimal recoil. Super fun to shoot.

He also has the MP40 which IMO shoots like a dream in auto.
