Well Shit, already placed my order with GS, probably more of a pain to cancel it and then order through Amazon.

 

Ordered the Optic and got a guy lined up to do the cut so I went ahead and ordered the safari land Holster to fit my M&P with an RMR and TLR-1.
Went back to make sure that the holster was the correct one on a hunch and I had ordered a holster for a Glock 19 with RMR and TLR-1...... So I ordered the proper one for the M&P. $300 spent on holsters.....
At least I have a Glock 19 to use the holster with.

 

Besides the Kimber, Colt, and/or Sig, does anyone know who makes desert tan 1911 that you would recommend? Thanks.

 

Ordered some stainless pins and stainless slide lock for my G19 just to make it look better.

 

watch out for optics on Amazon

Lots of scammers buy an optic, replace it with the cheap airsoft lookalike then file a return w/amazon

then when it restocks and gets shipped out...someone gets a cheap airsoft lookalike rather than an optic

check out all the rmr reviews where people got mad. lol

Cerakoting a 1911 (the right way) is a huge PITA. Try Norrells molyresin. Doesn't add as much thickness.

 

I’ll take the easy way out and buy one from the factory.

 

Since we're talking about rmr's from eBay got this on Amazon warehouse deals and seems legit

 

How do you like the FF3? I've never heard bad things but they're not as widespread as RMR's or even vortex stuff

 

I actually like it a lot! It's durrable and had a lifetime warranty like everyone else. I have an astigmatism though so red dots suck for me. I might switch to a RMR with dual illumination because I hear they're better for my eyes or maybe try shooting glasses
