I just find that really hard to believe.. that it has THAT much of an impact on the environment. I’m environmentally conscious too but that just seems like a stretch.

Not a peta person or enviro freak, but it sounds like it is a pretty big issue for the California condor.... https://www.nps.gov/pinn/learn/nature/leadinfo.htm

I also remember ducks unlimited posting about it years ago too.

I don’t hunt and try to avoid California at all costs, so doesn’t really affect me... Just passing on the info

Ahhhh damn good info. I’ve shot a ton of lead free 45acp and they seem to go bang pretty well.

Thanks for sharing an eye opener

See below, it’s rather true. On my road trip out to CA from VA we were in Utah and had the privilege of running into an individual who was tracking two of the CA Condors. I do recall them mentioning that lead has a significant impact on their health and ability to reproduce. It’s was interesting learning about the large birds.

The CA condor also has range in norther AZ and southern UT. We were fortunate to see two near Lava Point campground outside Zion.

My old man has a place in Santa Rosa so I can pretty much come out when ever I feel like. Trying to see what sports I can do out there. Shooting obviously isn't one of them and the reason I'll never move there. But, I've seen some big bass come out of Cali. Not sure what's going on hunting wise. I've seen plenty of deer and turkey by his house. Also have to check out of state licensing.

According to the MeatEater podcast the study they used to pass the bill was very flawed and proved nothing. Was basically funded by anti's. I don't think they get that the licenses, weapons, and ammo we purchase not just as hunters, fisherman, and as firearm owners pays for all the public land, lakes, governments and state parks they are so fond of. It's like selling the noose to hang yourself. Get rid of that tax revenue no places to play.

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.

This could probably go into any number of threads but I'll stick it here, mods can do what they do.

First few minutes are about the build of the Tacoma, later portion is about the rifles and what have you.

    Guns and Tacos.

Well I was hoping that I would have good luck out of my SCCY pistol, but yesterday while at the range the trigger failed to return several times. So a quick call this morning to SCCY and my pistol is on it's way back to the factory. CS also informed me that the extractor will be upgraded at this time. Glad there is NO charge for this just a PITA to go through it all.

The SCCY Web site said that I would have to pay to have it shipped to them , I called and was quickly told that I would not have to pay. They E mailed me a service request form to fill out and a shipping label. I will send it out first thing Monday morning I do not want my pistol sitting around at FedX over the weekend.

Yeah yeah, whatever, Mr. "I-don't-have-to-go-to-work-anymore"

My dad retired last year; now whenever he calls me he prefaces the conversation with "SO! How was work today?" and laughs.
