I was 3 or 4 lanes down from someone shooting a .50 desert eagle and I jumped everytime the guy shot it.

It’s annoying when indoors. I can see shooting it a few times as a novelty item to show off to friends. But this dude was putting like 100 rounds in.

Does anyone else feel like a AR pistol braces are wildly overpriced?

Im sure they work great but man the sticker shock on that was real. Especially considering I paid 35 bucks for a good SOPMOD AR stock.

Because they know people will pay

. Those SB tactical braces are about $200 and probably cost $15 to make if that. Part of the issue is supply.

So now that I have gotten over that shock, what's everyone's opinions on caliber for an AR pistol that would be used as a camping gun?

.223 is common most everywhere, if you run out of ammo most places will have at least one box. get into weird calibers and the less chance you'll find any ammo the further you get from civilization....

I was also thinking pistol calibers too. .223 seems like a good rifle caliber choice.
.45 or 10mm seemed like they might work for fending off animals if necessary.

223 is my first choice as well but i would seriously consider 300blk. Better balistics out of a short barrel than 223 but ammo is less plentiful and less options.

Actually I wouldn't nor am I, I've come to expect this from companies these days whose boardrooms have been taken over by the SJWs. I just didn't expect it from a knife company that actively markets their products towards hunters, anglers, outdoorsman, military and so forth, you know all the people that like and own guns. A company whose consumer base (I'm pretty sure) is overwhelmingly made up of gun owners.

A knife company, ponder on that and realize how far down the rabbit hole we are now as gun owners.

    Ill let it rest there.

First thing to come to mind when I was in the market for on. Most are just a piece of molded rubber.

^^ This, unless you go suppressed. Then it's 300BLK all day long.

Exactly why I don't pull out my 16.5" barreled Mosin unless I'm in an isolated part of the range.

Cheaper than a $200 tax stamp. Less paperwork too.
