Crappy company customer service record and always one recall after another.

If you are patient and look around you can find some excellent prices on Springfield Armory 1911's. Can get them in a classic config or feature packed like their Loaded models. There is a heap of value in them. You can count on their shop to take care of any and all issues you may every have, too.

 

Mother nature tried to take my range time today. I said screw that and made a make shift shelter.

Finished up the break-in period for my AR I built a while ago. Oddly enough the best group I got (not the pic) was about 1.15 MOA with cheap 55 grain Remington .223....
The target in the pic is with frontier 77gr 5.56. I'm not displeased but I think if I didn't have a crappy milspec trigger in there I could squeeze I little more out of it. A decent bipod might help too.

Look into the Larue trigger. Hard to beat for under $100 shipped.
He released a flat faced version but none have shipped yet.

What’s the best magazine these days for a AR is it still pmags?

Anybody use ProMag Colt style AR15 9mm mags in their AR9? ASC are the only kind I've ever been able to work, but these interest me. They're cheap though.

 

Swap your lower for a glock lower?

 

I like Lancer mags. Polymer so they are light, but with steel feed lips. I've had good luck with then and they always get good reviews.

 

What twist rate is your barrel? If it's 1:9 or slower, those bullets might be too heavy (technically too long) for your barrel.

Curious about your guys' thoughts on this. It ticks all my boxes the same way the PPSM2 RMSc does, with all the good Shield aftermarket.

 

I like it and have been eyeing it as I would eventually like to get a pistol with some type of optics on it.
