I have a 455 Varmint I wouldn’t part with for anything. If it shoots near as good as mine you’ll be super happy with it.

The Varmint Tacticool Suppressor Ready is basically the same rifle is Varmint Precision Trainer. The stocks are the only real difference. I can't wait for it to come in. I'm putting a Mueller 8-36x44 Target with side focus on it (my eyes aren't getting any younger and I hate that I have been admitting that more and more lately).

That the scope I have on mine. I just bought another for a CZ 452 American i just bought new. It probably won’t stay on the 452, but I want to test accuracy for now with it.BEC4F6EB-D23C-49FB-8BEA-BDDB6ECB91E0.jpg

How quick is zeroing out of the box? I'd like to zero it for 50 yard use

I would be pretty amazed if the 10mm version did not fit the 45acp holsters, if Springfield made the 10mm the way virtually every other manufacturer treats them, then they probably did minimal changes outside of changing the magazine, extractor, ejector, recoil spring and barrel. Similar to the way that most manufacturers use the same(ish) frame, slide, and other accouterments for their 9mm, .40, and .357sig handguns. The Springfield Arms forums might be of greater use to you here to confirm this. As always, I'm just a dude on the internet, ymmv, etc.

Thanks for the feedback. Safariland did mention that their holsters (at least the one for the .45 1911) use the ejection port as a retention point. Guess I need to do some homework on the dimensions between the two. I'll def check out the SA forums.

Ah, the ALS system, best retention system on the market.
My level 3 ALS/SLS holster for my M&P 40 fits and retains my Glock 19 polymer 80 build no problem.

I've heard good things about Safariland. I noticed the same thing when choosing the 7390 for my G19x w/ XC1. It was also compatible with a ton of other makes and models (G20 and Sig P226 9mm which I also have). Super excited about that!

This should complete my gun belt, so the days of no-where-to-put-a-pistol-and-mags-in-pockets are over.

I love all of my holsters from them.
I’m still a little torn on the 7 series vs the 6 series, the only 7 series holster I have is a level 1 non-light bearing for my P320, I have 3 6 series (light bearing level 3, level 1 light bearing red dot, and level 1 non-light bearing).
The 7 series is definitely slimmer but a little more difficult to keep clean, and I’m worried about durability as there have been some reports of the 7 series not being as durable.

I think it’s more of a concern for duty use or guys that run hard, there’s a good probability you’ll be fine.

I haven’t shot it in about a year. I honestly haven’t had a bunch of time behind it. I didn’t have any complaints and I took it out to 200 without issue using holdovers.

I just put the same on my 308 and love it. It gets a little blurry at max magnification but for the price it cant be beat. Really, my only gripe is wanting to zoom in after putting a few rounds down range and not being able to really make out where I hit at 200 yards (before someone says it, I know i should invest in a spotters scope but I just havent yet)

totally worth the money so far in my opinion.. especially since im too much of a tightwad to invest in a leupold
