If I were you, I'd get out and shoot both and, if possible, check out the holsters for both. With those 2 contenders, I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I have the bodyguard and it's been a great gun! Small easy to conceal and has never had any issues.

Anyone here have experience with both the glock 23 and m&p40c? I've been stuck for about a month on which one to pick up.

I have an M&P 40c. Love the thing. Never really liked the feel of glock, a little brickish feeling in my hand.

I just got a 9c, I like it a lot (double stack fits me a lot better than the single stack xds I traded it for) but my only quip is I wish it had a bigger undercut in the trigger guard like glocks do for your middle finger.

For me the biggest difference is the trigger. Out of the box the Glock wins hands down. Sure the M&P has lots of upgrades and modifications available if you're into that sort of thing but if you want the best trigger on the most accurate, most reliable & best track record firearm from the factory box to your holster for your buying dollar it's the Glock hands down.

This is very true. The m&p is a very different design and you have to almost roll your finger down to disengage the saftey on the lower half of the trigger. I found I was shooting low and left when I first started with it but I figured it out within a few mags. I too much prefer the trigger on the glock but the ergonomics of the m&p won me over. Apex makes a trigger kit for the m&p that seems to be the "go to" trigger for 95% of people that mod their m&p's.

That is one sweet scope. Can't go wrong with Vortex. What are you mounting it on?

I have heard the triggers aren't very good to say the least. I like the extra 3 rounds on the glock, and the fact that I can get it for 100$ cheaper than the M&P through the blue label program. 425 at the lgs with 3 mags. I've shot an owned glocks before, but I kinda wanted to try the M&P for something different. Mainly gonna be using it for concealed carry

I'm in a gunsmithing class this summer for large frame AR (ar 10), based on the dpms lr308. Using this on whatever I build in the class. In taking the class because I want to learn the machine work for the AR10 (lathe work and mill work). Wanting to build a 1000 yard .308 (usually shootif 700 isj though)

I thinking gonna need new rings for it for clearance issues

I won't say that the M&P trigger is bad but the factory Glock trigger is just better. The take-up is smoother and predictable and the break is clean and the reset is second to none. To me that reset is what makes it head and shoulders above the rest. I've done the Apex trigger swap on the M&P and still prefer the Glock even though the price tag is quite a bit less than the M&P even before the trigger swap. The M&P isn't a terrible gun I just prefer the Glock for a few reasons and the fact that it's cheaper also helps. Even if the Glock cost more I'd still choose it over the M&P but that's just me.

Yep, 100$ rings too. It is used, though you couldn't tell from looking at it the scope looks brand new. Though I did have to buy new batteries for the illumination.

The guy I got it from is actually bringing me the box and manuals when he gets around to it lol

The stock scope caps are junk and a set of butler creeks will be purchased eventually.

We were in the shop a few days ago reading license plates about 250-300 yards away through the front window. It was cool

Vortex Razor is some good glass. I've owned offerings from Schmidt & Bender, US Optics, Nightforce, Zeiss, Leupold, etc. and for the money the Razor is tough to beat. Very good glass and quality construction at a bargain of a price compared to it's competition. Good optic.
