Thanks! Local (about 3 hours away) guy is selling it, asking $300 and I think that’s a good deal but I have no knowledge about these.

I see about 300 for a numbers matching 91/30 without the bayonet around here so that seems decent to me.

If anyone has any good C&R links, do share!

    I'm always on the lookout!

It seems like it's now the case that there is either cheap-o junk (tokarevs) or there's big $$$ collector stuff ( $10k Nazi p38s....). Nothing in the middle. 1903 Springfields are seldom less than $1000 anymore.....

Ill watch gunbroker...or more browse it and occasionally find some decent deals.

But it really depends what you want. There are a lot of guns that are "cheap" now but are going to go the way of the mosins as supply drys up. Also depends if you only want "standard" ammo or are willing to go with the odd ball stuff. If you dont mind getting like 7.7, 6.5 swiss, ecttheres a lot.

    Just some examples
    -French MAS stuff
    -Egyptain Hakim and Rasheed
    - Mausers (both rifles and pistols)
    - Enfields

sgammo.com mostly. Like many people I use ammoseek.com to find the best prices and if you factor in shipping costs sgammo comes out on top a lot of the time.

Benelli M2 or SBE3, which would you choose for duck hunting?

    Finally got some goodies together.

I know the handstop setup looks weird, so I'll explain. Big handstop goes between my index and middle finger, middle and ring go between the handstops, and my pinkie hangs out at the back. This was the best configuration I could sort out with positive grip during the pumping action while still allowing access to the light (I'm a long gun lefty).

I moved the Shockwave Blade to the, ahem, Shockwave since it wouldn't work with the A5 tube I put on the AR Pistol. Speaking of...

The M4CQBR Pistol is now sporting an A5 recoil system, SBM4 brace, upgraded M951 light, and DBAL i2/PEQ-2.
    [IMG]IMG_8093 by Lee, on Flickr

    [IMG]IMG_8094 by Lee, on Flickr

I also changed my rifle and carbine to the A5 system and VLTOR iMOD stocks.

Of course the whiz-bang laser and IR illiminator goodness would be worthless without a little night vision.

If your into other brands i wouldn't trade my sx4. Its been nothing but reliable and never had a hiccup even when i dropped it in 3 foot of water in a swamp bottom and it took 5 minutes to find. I checked the barrel shook it off and kept hunting with zero issues

I don’t think he wants anything other than a Benelli, my cousin called today and wanted my opinion on the two.
I don’t know enough about them to give an opinion so I figured I would ask here.
