I dig my 30 dollar gun belt, grab one with steel reinforcement and it'll carry quite the load.

If by battle belt you're thinking specops style padded overbelt IDK.

 

I may have to try the mid ride UBL with the strap, I used the mid ride without the strap for duty use.
I’ll also check out Esstac, I don’t have any rifle mag carriers and need to get a few, I only have a safariland triple mag open top (the outward facing model) for my handgun mags.

 

Getting ready for a 2 gun match for some practice with desert brutality 2020 coming up. Anyone here doing DB2020?

Hah, that's not the problem, I'm willing to run the thing in board shorts if necessary. It's mainly the fact that it tends to fall when I have no vacation time left to take a day on either side of the weekend for prep and R/R, plus this year's lack of funding problem to actually commit to the travel. It would be a minimum of $300 in travel for me alone, which simply isn't tenable right now.

 

Gotcha on the vacation time. This year I’m running ak so it’s Thursday Friday too, so some extra days are gone, but hey next year we typically camp out if you wanna come with us, your more than welcome

 

Has anyone bought one of the DPMS full auto BB guns? I’m thinking of buying one since I have coupons, bringing the price down below $100.

 

I plan to do something along those lines. Shooting a match is cool, but that match with camping and generally roughing it a bit is too tempting to let slip without reason.

 

Hey if they keep the same thing next year you can also do the match twice. Just run Klashkov/retro/classic Thurs/Friday and then trooper Sat/Sun with camping in between! In all honesty next year unless my wife is pregnant again I plan to do 4 days but this year it filled up so quick I only got the first two days, but 2 gun has grown a lot out here to the point there is really a match almost every weekend at one of the venues. Pima pistol, usery, cow town, or gun and rod. Plus apparently a new match is suppose to start around flag and hopefully another in Prescott so always other options.

 

The local McDonald’s was robbed last week and we get this weekly paper in our town. Someone wrote this and it went out today.

 

Well to be fair, they probably didn't have a big enough sign. That would have stopped them.

The people who robbed them done it early in the morning when the delivery truck pulled up and put a gun to the drivers head and went in the back.

If you a felon with a stolen gun you don’t care about no sign anyways.

 

Maybe they should just make it illegal to rob places.
