I have no opinion on hipoint. Don’t own one never plan on it. But I do know people who wouldn’t be able to own a gun but for purchasing an inexpensive option.

What about the new 350 Legend on an AR lower? I’m looking at AR uppers again and this round has me curious.

Ive heard nothing great about 350 legend, it’s an AR platform workaround for states with straight wall requirements, mediocre performance.

    Scavengers defending high point?

You are probably one of those people that pays $2000 for a glock with a stippled grip and cerakoted slide.

A Straight walled case that indexes on the mouth..... that's a hard pass.

It's like a 30 carbine. Except bullets are more expensive. Reloading 30 carbine sucks. Unless you think trimming brass to the thousandths is fun.

Nice generalization. Scavengers because a bunch jumped in at the same time. I don’t have a single rifle or gun with $2k in it. Nor anything spent on “custom” work. You don’t have to spend a lot to have a nice rifle or gun. You also don’t have to buy a crap pistol to get a good deal. Nice try though.

You have your opinion, I have mine. Thought we were all able to be mature and move past this now.

I had two of their tactical 1911 models, one a full sized and one an officers. Both very reliable and good shooters. Inexpensive 1911's. They sell thousands of them.

    Both.

Always leave with it. Purchase never takes longer than ten minutes. Well except for the suppressor, feds made me wait for that one.

Only changes have been pro-2nd amendment. Not concerned about the future of Wyoming at all.

Lived here too long to remember firearm purchases in other states.

I like nice gear, but I'm not going to knock someone for having functional-but-eh stuff. That said, if you can't afford nicer gear than that, you likely can't afford the range time, ammo, and training it comes with responsible gun ownership.

It’s a way to get around hunting restrictions in certain states. I don’t see what it has over .450 bushmaster but i haven’t looked particularly hard.

Yes, true for people that absolutely have to hunt with an AR. But the rimmed (non AR) options are better, 357max, 460s&w, 44mag, 45-70.

easy here, If you have your concealed weapons permit go to local gun store, pick out your firearm of choice and buy/take it home that day! Look in classifieds Face to face buy take home that day. gun shows are similar. Here we can open carry and concealed carry. Now our neighbor state to the west is different. We had to get our "enhanced concealed" weapons permit to carry concealed in Washington. Oregon doesnt even honor Idaho enhanced weapons. Idaho honors most out of state concealed weapons but you have to check the list. still a good 2A state IMO...

Agreed. I just bought a S&W Shield 9mm, paid $179.00 and still ask myself whether it was worth it. I am not trying to compare to a high end 1911 or even a more moderately priced Sig, FNH or HK. It just doesn’t have a great feel but will be an acceptable fishing gun or one you might let a buddy carry.

I pocket carry so a red dot will not work for me. I think I would use a red dot for home protection or a range gun. just my .02

My main mode of carry is pocket carry. It draws far less attention. Having a red dot mounted on a glock 19 or 26 would just add a snag factor I would not want to deal with in a bad situation.
