The first couple times I saw it I figured it was the guy next to me. I put down my pistol and backed off the line and walked behind the other shooters and identified the perpetrator in lane #4. I was just amazed at the laser light show. I was distracting at times. Looking back, I should have brought it up with the RSO.

Hopefully its not a common occurrence.
Complacency by range staff could prove disastrous.

I commend you for not confronting him or huffing off. If I’m honest with myself, I probably would’ve done one of the two.

Seems they assembled those parts for you.

    Edit: trigger job?

    Some assembly required.
Basic p320 to tungsten grip module and a factory x-five trigger bow to top it off.
Oh, and an extended slide release.
Magazine conversion should be here next week.

So I watch demolition ranch, as I’m sure a lot of you do. I discovered the po boy suppressor line from black aces tactical on there, only $200 for a can. He had good things to say about it. I emailed them and asked them if I can fire 300BLK through their AK suppressor to which they replied yes. So I think that’ll be my first step into the suppressor world since it’ll only be ~$450 overall.

I have no experience with that can or company and I don’t want to discourage you from getting into the NFA world, the more NFA item owners we have the better, however, I would be extremely cautious with niche (not well established) companies and personally would recommend the YHM Resonator or resonator K for $200 or $250 more.
You are much more likely to have long term support for when baffles erode (or, the more likely scenario, a baffle strike) and if you ever wanted to go through the process of re-selling the can you would probably be in a better position with the YHM can (or really any other can that is more common).

This is all just food for thought, I have a family friend who got suppressors because he had money burning a hole in his pocket, he bought some inexpensive ones and never uses them because of weight and lack of noise reduction and I believe if he had invested in quality products he would use them much more and actually get his money’s worth.

Whatever you decide to go with let us know how you like it and what the wait time is!

All good info and I do appreciate it. Ideally I would like to get a nicer one and suppress my .45, but then I’ll need a threaded barrel, higher sights, and the increased cost of the suppressor. For me it’s just a novelty item and honesty I don’t really know if I even should get one aside from just getting it to get it. Almost all my shooting is done at an indoor range, so it just seems kinda silly.

I’ve also considered doing a form 1 (or 4? Can’t remember) on a mossberg shockwave and adding a magpul stock to make it an SBS but I’m still undecided. Part of me wants to get into the NFA world but the other part doesn’t because it’s a hassle. But that’s exactly what they want.

    Hey.. wait a minute. o_O

If they are built like their other packs, it should be solid. Taken several Camelbak brand bags on deployments and training exercises.

    Older version of this specifically.

I don't have any cans yet but three of them on the way. I received a lot of advice and that advice is cost should not be a factor since you are essentially buying for life. I was also told by many that I'd hate heavy cans. 20+ ounces hanging off the end of your barrel would not be fun. Hold 29 ounces in your hand and imagine that on the end of your 300blk.

I chose a 14oz can for my 30 cal needs.

The grip module is on my list. How does the new grip feel weight wise? It's the last thing on my list for mine:

Agreed. I have a 24oz can that I got back in 2015 (Specwar). It gets used but not my first choice when my newer cans are shorter and lighter. It's not too bad on a 8" 300blk rifle but there are alot better options out there.

Good choices all around. Yeah the weight isn't too bad on short rifles but you really feel it with full size. Looks like you found a good dealer.
