Yep. I have read this nonsense. Obviously written by an exceptionally poor writer and much more importantly, one that has never fired a Five Seven. Comparing to a 9mm is a non starter and relevant to nothing. If a persons “thing” is to go out and blow through 250-500 rounds then it is likely not your weapon of choice. If you go out and work on your trigger, bullet placement and breathing then it is a non issue.

I will say, “NUCLEAR RAGE”, is a great descriptor.

I recall 22lr going upwards of 11¢/rd. What was .223/.556 up to and what about 9mm? I saw a shop with a bit of 223 out today for 52¢ but Ive found it online at 32 and remember 23 and lower. What is everyone seeing or hearing the local gouge at?

My local shop was closed. Open by appointment only, no browsing. So all I can relate to is online pricing.

Had a lady come in my shop today looking for more ammo and told us she paid $16/box for steel case 20s from another local store

Yup I felt bad for her but I am completely out of stock on all 5.56 and 223 so I had nothing to sell her at reasonable prices

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Theres few ARs available, Glocks are what's in stock at a dealer and that's it right now if you want 9MM, and everything is sold out...we're having to go with smaller distributors and spend more per gun because so much is out of stock...we're sourcing some stuff as we can but we're having to get the pricier stuff just to make sure we have ammo on the shelf and guns in the case

I'm an extremely small store with limited hours and I've done 50k in sales this month

Prior to March the largest month I've ever done was around 20k and that was a month with a very good gun show that was half of my sales

What do you see in used gun sales? I am in NorCal so person to person is not an option.
Curious as dealer if you see enough demand for unavailable guns to justify selling off some of our excess.

I’ve taken in a few consignment guns but they’ll probably sit because they’re priced too high

There are waits, lines and some places need a call ahead reservation here.
I have not been in any of the stores for a while so not sure what's available

Limited ammo. It's a nightmare really.
    Glad I had shit

We've had a line most days, but that's because I'm working with a 500 sq ft space

I was closed Friday thru Sunday and missed 157 phone calls of people looking for something

Significant considering how many other stores are in the area such as Academy, Palmetto State, and other local shops

We're the only one open that's not gouging and willing to order stuff without extra charges etc

We use tin foil for cooking not sure what your doing with it. Not sure why people are stock piling TP. Maybe you can answer that too?
