I'm a little north of Atl - I usually shoot near Hiawassee, at very cost-effective club.

I just discovered that the CZ Scorpion Micro was a thing and I can dig it. I like it more than the EVO 3 pistol.

Anyone here recommend a gun safe for rifles... but it needs to be small. I don't have much room in the house to put it.

Guns that will be going in it:
    1 AR15
    1 M&P 15-22
    1 Springfield 9mm

I was thinking about possibly under my desk in the office but need to measure the height.... I was also thinking in a closet but don't have much space in any of the closets. Ugh.

you have a budget in mind?
for 2 long guns and 1 handgun you really wouldn't need something too big, unless you plan on growing into it or also keeping ammo in there.
as far as a heavy and fire rated safe, 500 bucks could get you something that would hold 5-8 long guns but could easily spend more if you want more space and higher quality. (nice used safes can be found at a safe / locksmith retailer, or new at a sporting goods store)
a low buck option (that comes with its own pros/cons) would be a gun cabinet, basically a high school gym locker that you can move very easily and still slap a lock on it.
another option would be something like a wooden chest / drawer that can be discreet and lockable.

these just a few diff thoughts, lots of posts in this thread about safe shopping and purchasing

I personally like the idea of a discreet wooden chest, something like this can blend right in and go unnoticed by those who need not know (but a major con with this would be lack of fire rating in the event of a blaze)

Budget - I'd say less than $500 (cheaper the better right? ;) )
I eventually might get more guns but also I might be in a new house that has more space/could fit a larger gun safe.
    I didn't even think about a gun cabinet/locker with a lock. That's a good idea.
Another good idea about the wooden chest/drawer option. Definitely like your thinking of of the box.

I've seen a few wall mounted wooden things that hold a gun or two. I go to the range typically every Wednesday (not now with the CoronaVirus) so I would be removing it from the safe and taking it with me.

I like that but unfortunately it's too tall for me.

Thanks for the link. I'll have to check it out later.
