By the sounds of it, other then a few smaller shops, prices are already up. I’d wait, but I suppose if you want or need them, then it’s a reasonable Q. Not my money.

 

Yeah, I am hearing of misc brand AR's still out there some Glocks,1911's,CZ's,Kahr's etc: a few stores here have some still available but in this part of VA the ones here have more than enough guns and ammo.

 

When discussing the purchase of ammunition one should always count by the thousand. I feel bad for people who do not have stuff stored in there garage. I have about twice as much as I would probably survive trying to use. That seems about the right amount. And if for some reason I use that up I can dig into the 30ish pounds of powder and start reloading.

If my house ever catches fire however, well just vacate a couple block radius.

 

Has anyone looked at the Ruger Wrangler .22? I picked one up because it is a safe little pistol for my son to learn on and matches his .22 Henry nicely. Anyway, you can pick up a wrangler for $200, change the grips and its a solid little pistol for less than half a single six.

 

Got sick of my .44 (I call it the clown gun) always being in the way and not fitting anywhere.

 

Well dang it, now I want one.

 

My wife said I should leave a gun out for her while I am at work. She didn't find my solution funny this morning.

 

You should really check one out. I normally do not buy anything while everyone is panicking and I really don't need more than what I have but I have a guy that runs a little home based shop who had one and did not raise his prices so I figured I would support him. Out the door was under $215. I was actually really impressed with it for the money. I would say the biggest difference is the wrangler has fixed sights but that just makes it a little more fun.

LOL, well I have a 5 and an 11 year old running around the house also. I left her one of her pistols in the bedroom safe in condition 3. She sent me a text and said "really!".

That's awesome. We have a lot of BLM land out here so we can go find a place pretty easy. All the ranges are closed though.
