Because I saw the magazine and said why the heck not, I havent bought any stupid gun stuff in a while. I have no plan to carry it as a BUG with the 10rnd magazine. The 6rnd with finger extension is what stays with it.
My carry is either my m&p 9c, m&p shield 9, or ruger lcr 357 mag.

Same here, I went and bought a new pistol a couple weeks ago, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Yeah. Someone explain how concealed carry permits and medical marijuana work in FL.

    In 500 words or less.....

Gotcha, I wasn’t sure if your state.

It’s nice to have the ability. I bought a Mosin from a guy 2 hours away, paid him digitally and his buddy took it to a gun show where the guy I get ammo from was selling ammo/reloading supplies and when he came back from that gun show I went to his house and picked up the rifle, my only time/effort expenditure was driving 5 minutes to pick up the rifle, it’s nice to be legally allowed to do that.

The police ID makes no difference as far as I’m aware, I just don’t feel like spending the $100 for not having to wait for the NICS check, I can carry without a permit in my state as a “civilian” and I’m covered by LEOSA for carrying in and out of state. Eventually I should get it just to have it but it’s low priority.

Again, I only have my state to refer to, but. A police ID or copy of should be sufficient proof of training to help acquire a license to carry. It is here. Any military separation paper copy is as well.
We have constitutional carry in our state but reciprocity and the requirement to notify a police officer when stopped along with other aux ID benefits are enough for me to keep mine renewed. Again, I’m a “retired” police officer so my situation is different . When I worked, we still were required to get a carry permit as well as having the ID.

At least with hurricanes you have a few days heads up to get ready. Glad we don't have tornadoes here.

Florida has plenty of crazies that's for sure, but also plenty of people that conceal carry.

I enjoy rural Florida, plenty of backwoods places left that havent changed a bit in 50 years.

I own a few Sig's and have been looking at the P365, specifically the SAS model with recessed sights. Ive held one, havent shot it. Anybody have any experience shooting them? The reviews I read people either love them or hate them....

I attended college in Pensacola and am considering retiring in that area. Definitely enjoyed that part of FL much more than the rest.

I was stationed in PCOLA in the early 90s. Rusty's, Perdido Key and Florabama were my thing. After retiring from the Navy in the mid 2000s, I took my wife and boys back there and now it's nothing more than another crowded tourist trap. You can't even see the ocean from Perdido Key drive (wall to wall highrise hotels), when it used to be sand for miles.

No kidding. I don't think I've ever shot the LCP with that magazine in it.

I also have a Bodyguard. Guy I got it from put the enhanced "easier pull" trigger in it. Scariest gun I've ever shot. Unless you really yanked the trigger fast, it would not release the striker reliably. I put the stock trigger back in it, and it's worse than the LCP.

I've shot the LCP a lot though, and it seems like it has broken in with use.

Do you know what trigger he put in? Or was it a home job.

I don’t have the SAS model, but as far as shooting goes it’s great, but I already have other subcompacts so it wasn’t anything new to me.
