Haha what a douche bag. I know a few cops and ex-cops that are this way and they are just jealous of us FF's cause we get all the glory. I dont see why some are like that....LE is a very honorable profession but you dont see us bad mouthing police officers.

Put them on I've seen them and they look pretty good. I have both Bombers and Jets plates and if I was a ff i would get those.

    Such a douche!

    Just kidding ya hose monkey.
But just keep in mind what you do while you drive your personal vehicle is now reflected upon your profession. Don't be an ass or you'll make Fire look like an ass.

Thats the problem, I would hate to have a temporary loss of judgment and cut someone off or something like that by accident or on purpose......we all have our moments... and have someone report me, where if I had a regular plate nothing would likely happen. I doubt that would happen, I'm a decent enough driver, but you never know. I've seen enough accidents caused by imprudent drivers...

I guess I'll have to be more careful, not a bad thing.

    Jealous of firefighters? LOL
I don't need to call a firefighter before I show up to a house in the hood. The fire trucks and ambulances wait around the corner for us on a lot of their non-law enforcement related calls. When they aren't waiting on us, they're washing someone's vehicle or equipment. I don't clean anything I don't own.

I've heard plenty of times of EMS or fire fighters having issues in "the hood" on calls that didn't originally involve a law enforcement aspect. Do you blame them? You're armed. They're not.

Around here the cops mostly all know the FF's and the cops are often around the fire house. Some of the cops are volunteer FF's as well. Glad I don't live in an area where law enforcement and fire fighters have constant dick measuring contests against each other.

We get along where I work because our firefighters don't say others are jealous of them. They know their role, and we stick to ours. We also thank each other when leaving. I was just giving the previous poster a hard time for thinking people are jealous of him. I wouldn't be a firefighter if I got a 25% raise.
