Did you notice any difference in the ride? I have read on here that a few people have found the ride stiffer with the air bags.

That's because those people aren't using the Daystar cradles.

Can you explain how the Daystar cradle makes a difference?

Depends how how you use them. I inflate mine only to level the rear when towing or carrying a heavy load. On occasion I have used them when off-roading to add some clearance. Otherwise, I leave 5lbs of air in the system and the OEM ride is unaffected.

I have 10-15 psi in them at the moment, I found that I need gauge that doesn't start at 10 psi.. I've only driven about 50 miles so far, biggest thing I noticed is that the Tacoma roll is gone, and it is slightly tighter but that is what I was going for.. I am pulling my 5k LB TT for spring break next week and will update then if I notice any improvements, which I suspect I will!

My truck is non-TRD package and after a few seasons of pulling my TT and my dump trailer, the rear is sagging, so much so that I keep getting flashed by others thinking that my brights are on.. These will level me out and help with the towing!!

The daystars where just a "might as well through these in" while in there kind a thing.. I don't off road much, but now that I am newly single that might change!! Keeping the option open so to speak!

I carry an old frame air pump designed for a bicycle; it can air up to 50 lbs and starts at 5lbs. But I also have a small Slime air gauge I picked up at walmart that starts at 2psi. A 'mod' I did was to install a T-valve so I only have to air up using one valve instead of two. That will affect using the air bags as a rear anti-roll bar but I don't find my truck has heavy side roll.

Look for an ATV vehicle gauge. They run very low pressure so ATV specific gauges would be more suitable than a regualr gauge that goes up to high pressures.

I’ve had mine in for 4 years, the truck does ride harsh if you leave them aired up 15psi or above. I have a cross bed box that has a a little over 150lbs of “crap” in it, and usually randomness in the bed.

when mine shine is there is a bridge near me, if the air pressure is lower (5ish psi) the truck will buck hard going over the transition, pressure up 10-15psi and it soaks it up.

I currently have a camper shell on the truck and that’s helped with the ride as well, bags set about 10-15psi .

towing my tongue heavy camper, and my utility trailer loaded has greatly improved with the addition of the bags as well.
