Just finished running deliveries with 350 lbs +/- in the bed of my 2013 Prerunner DCSB and it sagged pretty bad. I plan on purchasing 2 kayaks and roof bars to haul them with, and at some point also adding a bed shell so I know the rear springs will need to be addressed at some point. I am totally stock with 18k miles and 245s, and while I'd like a lift, I don't need one and don't have that much fun money and I'd also like to retain ride quality or improve it. Reading here about add a leafs, new spring packs, and airbags it seems like airbags are the best bet for my situation. I don't wheel, do road trips, don't always carry lots of weight but sometimes carry up to 500lbs in the bed, maybe once a month or maybe twice a week. I use it for work deliveries so every day is different. I do go camping and road trip so ride quality/load carrying are the big things for me.
Can someone tell me if I'm wrong in my thought process here before I spend money in the wrong place?

My money tree died years ago, so if anybody knows any TW vendors (discounts?) or can suggest a good retailer with the best price I would really appreciate the help.

Maybe I missed something. But what is the purpose of adding the cradles to the air bags. I just bought a travel trailer and want to set up the suspension now before I start pulling it. I was already looking at the Firestone air bags.

This info is straight from Firestone.....you do not....I repeat....DO NOT need to air down the bags if the truck is going to be lifted off the ground and they said the Daystars are a waste of money. In fact if you have a failure using the Daystars, Firestone will not warranty the product. They said it is a wives-tale that modern airbag helper springs will burst if the rear axle drops to full extension...regardless of the amount of air in the bag. Don't shoot the messenger on this one, just sharing the info I got. Their instructions make no mention if needing to do anything special if the vehicle is going to be lifted as well.

The cradles let you attach the bags only on one end, so they are not ripped appart when offroading from being attached on both ends, thats the info i gathered on the forum here, i have no first hand experience with them.

    Yeah.
Love mine, infinitely adjustable for different size loads. I am not lifted, so not worrying about the cradles.

Check AutoAnything (during a sale or with a coupon), or Amazon.

I understand what they are for...as mentioned on the other post, the bags aren't supposed to be used on a lifted truck, so the info I was given by Firestone likely only applies to a stock truck.

Removed the dealer tag holder…that’s it.
I'm selling a set for $250 if anyone is interested. I posted a thread on the marketplace if you want pictures. They are in like new condition, with less than 200 miles on them. Not sure if you got any yet, thought I'd let you know.
