Just got a letter yesterday, and nothing on search, so assuming not too many have had to deal with this recall of the Destination LE2 manufactured 7-9/22 (on Sports 265/65/17) yet? Mine falls under the date codes provided.... Seems my dealer knew nothing about it, nor does the Firestone store... so I will wait a few days and check again. Seems it is handled only through the Firestone stores, and they need to break down and inspect the inside of the tire, which I am not too happy about given the truck has just under 5k and they tend to hire hamfisted monkeys.

Pretty run of the mill type of thing for a tire store. The inspection is no big deal... Certainly better than a tire failure.

Link to the recall? Or post a picture of the mailer.

ya, well...I also had them mar up the rims on my jeep in the past and argue it wasn't their fault.... so ya, I get nervous, but yes it is better than a tire issue.

That's either a misadjusted tire mounting machine, wrong tools, or both. With a properly adjusted machine even a very ham-fisted person shouldn't ding up a rim.
