Was the box assembled in May 2013? Mine and at least one other posted on this site had the same problem. If you call them, they will send you the correct fittings.

I just got a call from the mechanic installing my air bags....

"hey John, the fittings on the top of the airbags are the wrong size"

    sonofabitch.

Unfortunately I bought mine off Amazon so I just spent 20 minutes trying to explain the problem to a clueless Indian woman and hope that they send me the right ones.

They are going to send me an entire kit, I told her that there have been several kits that have the wrong parts and told her the date of packing info I got here. I pleaded with her to make sure someone actually checks to make sure the parts are correct before sending it out.

    Wish me luck..

The mechanic is going ahead with the install without the air lines for now, and then will put them on when I get the right parts.

    Fuck me.

Call Firestone directly. I did and they sent me the correct fittings in about a week. They packed the box, not Amazon. BTW, I got mine from Amazon too and had no issues going directly to Firestone.

I just bought a set of Ride Rites from Amazon, got them installed yesterday and everything went together no problems. I am guessing there must have been a small run of kits that had the wrong parts.

Just installed my ride fits on a 2014 double can off road. Is the bottom bracket supposed to rest on the axle housing? Mine is about 1/2 inch short....anyone have this issue?

Its like an epidemic of wrong sized air fittings. WTF is going on with your QC Firestone?
Went to two HDs to find alternatives for now and will contact FS for replacements. rps20170826_215713_877.jpg

Many days late but the bottom bracket has folds that rest on the axle housing and hold the bracket above the axle u-bolts also providing clearance for the bolt that holds the bag to the bracket. On mine I found it easier to temporarily disconnect the brake line bracket to finish tightening the Ride Rite bracket u-bolts. '14 AC.

Yes, the brackets appear 1/2 inch short at the cutout.
Hadn't seen any write-up or comments on this before so cut some steel bar and bolted it to the brackets to fill in the cutout and fully support the bracket properly on the axle.

Contacted Firestone tech support, they're mailing out some properly sized air hose connectors.

My brackets are about 2 inches too short. Ill be making some support brackets and welding them on the existing ones

I also had the wrong size hose fittings. Got another one locally. My time is worth more than the effort to call and track it all down and wait for it

Firestone mailed out a pair but I was able to cobble something together from HD in the meantime.
