I took advantage of the nice weather and did the install in my driveway. I only have hand tools and was doing this solo, it took about 3.5 hours from start to finish. I am hoping that the weather stays decent so I can test everything out and get a camping trip in. I will be towing a Rockwood A122SXR folding camper, it weighs about 2700lbs.

The install was not technically hard, just a pain not having a lift or air tools.

Sorry no pics, I was tired and was just trying to get it done. There is a complete install Youtube video on a 2009 Tacoma. I will post some pics when I get the camper hooked up .

Just an update on the rear air suspension; When driving over speed bumps and rough roads I had some noise coming from the air bags slapping on the Daystar cradles. I was able to correct this by making some rubber pads from some Zodiac patch material. I used some good epoxy to attach the rubber pads to the contact points and the truck is quiet again. I have been running the bags at the recommended min. 5psi, I gained about a 1/2 inch of rear lift and the ride stayed pretty much the same. I am hoping to hook up my camper soon and see how everything works out.
