I finally pulled the trigger on these. I have been thinkng and talking about it for almost a year. I have been bottoming out with 4 people in the truck or loads in the bed, the TSB helped but didnt resolve the problem. I am going to OBX in August with a full bed and 4 adults so i had to do something

I got a great deal on them http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/firestone-2407-ride-rite-air-bag-kit-toyota-tacoma-4wd-2005-2011

$260 shipped is at least $30 better than anyone else.

they also have the AirLift brand there for $215 but i hear the firestones are much much better. hope to get them in by next weekend and throw them on

i put those firestone air bags in my double cab with the underhood compressor, they are awesome. i have the dakar leafs so i cant relate to the ride with just the tsb but they cure the whole payload problem. love em

I will be doing this mod maybe this winter. I am planning on obtaining a GM compressor/leveling bracket set up from a JY.

ok i started installing them yesterday afternoon. it took me a couple hours to install the drivers side. i had to go buy a socket (1 1/8") so that killed some time. Overall that side went ok but i am going to try some different things on the other side and will update with my success and put up some pics.

No problems with the airbags on the Dakar leaf pack? I have the ride rites installed, and will be putting that leaf pack on in a couple weeks. I wasn't sure if they would work well together or not. Glad to see someone else has done it though.
