Cannons don't have rifling where as rifles....do.

How about a giant..."la-zer". No recoil with that bitch. You don't have to worry about objects at a distance since it's unaffected by gravity.

Fuck, you mean the word "Rifle" actually refers to something?? Here I always thought it was just a name for long barrelled gun or sonething.

    What does rifling mean?

the twist inside the barrel is rifling. shotguns are more like miniature cannons than "rifles"
no twist inside cannons or shottys

The effect on the vehicle AS A WHOLE matter, but the force applied to the vehicle does not change.

    And Mythbusters?
They are very entertaining. They are very interesting.
They are very highly skilled and intelligent Hollywood special effects technicians.
They are NOT scientists and quite often make errors in procedure and basic theory.

One perfect example was when they made the assumption that two vehicles crashing head-on at 70mph was the same as one vehicle hitting a brick wall at 140.
That is not true, and they confirmed that it is not true... but it took a followup show to confirm that.

you could shoot a mortar. same or more destructive power. when i was in iraq AQI had mounted mortars to the bed of their hilux and deer trucks. they would weld the base plate to the bed fire off some rounds and jet off. and then off the gunships went after them:D
