I'm having trouble deciding what first major-ish mod I should do. It's either traction boards, off road lights, or a bed mat. Need help deciding :goingcrazy:

Definitely get a bed mat unless you like things ice skating on the stock bed's tractionless surface. BTW $114 seems a bit high for the mat especially since you have the short bed.

I voted bed mat, but floor mats were my first mod. I went with the husky liner weather beaters because there are no holes in them. Weather techs look to have a hole that accepts the factory clip to keep in place. I didn’t care for that design. Just another place for water, dirt, debris to enter. Husky liners are excellent and very durable.

I tinted my windows first but after that the mods got way out of your budget. In fact, removing myself from this thread as to not effect your bank account.

Bed mat and a good flashlight :)

Good floor mats are a good first option too. I bought a dull set of WT mats after I wore a hole in my drivers side mat 9 months into ownership.
I still need to get a bed mat, my dog already hates going for rides (I know, she's a weird dog), and 100lbs of bullmastif sliding and clawing along the bed is unsettling! :)
