Love it. These trucks should come with 63’s. Best mod I’ve done.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot. I don’t think I’ll ever have a need for any high speed off roading like you’d have in the dunes or anything, and if I’m going to spend the money to lift it I might as well get the most bang for my buck and this definitely seems to be it. It’s been awhile since I read through the entire thread so forgive me if this is listed, but you ordered the leafs in a lift spring didn’t you? As in, like a 3” lifted Chevy leaf pack? Thanks for the write up btw. Seems pretty straight forward!

 

You will get 7” from that pack. Get a 3 plus overload stock set you will gain either 4 or 3” depends on what you want.

 

Stock Chevy C1500 springs from an 88-98 model.

 

Good to know. I’m definitely going to go this route. I had my truck on some real trails last week and the picture doesn’t show it well but the rear is in the air here so I could definitely use it. This was the 4th line I attempted to see if I could make it up without use of the locker and I definitely couldn’t lol

 

You definitely keep the rear on the ground with 63’s and shock relocation.

 

How would doing this compare with archive garage hammer hangers?

 

I was thinking about running revolver shackles on top of this, which is the same thing pretty much

 

Never heard of them. This is all welded on. Not bolt on shit.

 

Any information on moving the shocks inside the frame rails?
