First 4x4.. 03 5spd with 38k!

I've owned an 04 tacoma prerunner with auto trans and no rear locker for the last 6 years and im tired of not getting to all the good camp sites because i dont want to beat up such a nice vehicle. So, to my girlfriends dismay... I impulsively bought a silver 03 tacoma 4x4 xtra cab with the 3.4L and 5spd manual trans last night.. woops. It only has 38,000 miles on it and I just had to have it.

It runs and drives great, but due to its age, Im in the process of replacing the timing belt, waterpump, thermostat, idler bearings, tensioner etc. Hoping to get it done by this weekend so I can test it out.

Ill post some photos this evening while im wrenching on it.

Ill also be selling my 04 prerunner in the near future if anyone is interested. That one only has 107k. well cared for.

yeah im pretty excited.. ive got a few places that i didnt attempt to get to in the prerunner.. ill be heading back to those places in the near future to see what i was missing!
