There is sound logic to spending the time with the truck. Figuring out what you need/want... before doing a bunch of modifications you'll end up doing over because it didn't end up being the right mod for you and/or your truck, and/or what you're going to do with your truck.

Gotcha! Totally understandable and I do agree. That’s why I chose to find resources like this one to learn and talk to others that’s been down this road

 

Good plan... there are A LOT of great ideas on this site. Also, a lot of great people. Some of my closest friends, now days, are from TW.

I don't know how often they happen in your area, but checking out Mod Days (even if you're not doing anything to your truck) are a great place to learn what's available for your truck and how to do it. Also if there are any Taco truck meet ups, those are good to get ideas for your truck.

 

Welcome to TW...If you lift your truck more than 3 inches you’ll need to install a drop bracket lift, which requires cutting a section out of your cross member. I put one on my truck 2 years ago and have had no issues.
