Hi everyone am new member here and new to 4X4 world. i bought 2000 tacoma trd 2WD and converted to 4X4 last week. first i couldnt get the front diff to engage when i put it in 4wd the front drive shaft spins but wheels dont spin there are 2 vacuum hoses on the front diff i believe one locks it in the other pull it out so am using vacuum hose from the intake to manually connect to the hose that lock in the front diff when i need 4wd and when then connect to the other hose to disengage. it works i tested it but when its in 4wd the steering gets really hard and when i go over 25-30 MPH truck shakes, Vibrates and dont handle good at all but when its in 2wd everything works fine no shacking or vibrate. is it normal or i did something wrong or maybe something not right please help i live in Fresno, ca
