Getting ready to trade in my Tacoma and cleaning things out. Was there a First Aid kit packed down near the spare tire tools? Red and nice like it’s never been opened.

I feel like I've seen one sold as an add-on accessory from the Toyota parts store. But most FAKs have stuff that expires after a few years and wouldn't be useful by now anyway.

    No
That's not how first aid supplies work.
"Expiration" dates on non-meds are usually sterility dates. A bandage doesn't stop working just because it's "expired", same with bandaids, etc. Heck, even most meds don't stop working at their expiration date; they just become less effective.

Yeah, no. I'm not about to pop a tylenol or pepto that has been sitting in a hot car for 9 years lmao. Bandaids under those same conditions lose their adhesive too. FAKs do expire in a meaningful way.

I ate a 30 year old MRE and tried a smoke too. Matches still worked.
