First Android and battery is horrible

    I know there is an update for my phone android 2.2 but my carrier does not have it.....is there any other way to get it? i read it is supposed to improve battery.

    Check out the manufacturers website, they usually have a client which updates your phone.

    Got home from work and still had 70% battery. Seems like that may have done the trick. Maybe it was a way to train the battery. Seems to be doing even better today. I emailed HTC in regards to the update. Hopefully they will send it to me!
