    The ice finally melted here recently. Last Sunday I was able to get the kayak out onto the water and caught my first bass of 2018. Ended up doing well in just about 2 hours.

    So that video was from last Sunday. Three days later the temps here hit 80 degrees. I throw the kayak in the back of the truck immediately after work and get in the water. The water temps on the surface were now 20 degrees warmer than Sunday. The bite was horrible. I thought they would be active but they weren't
