So I think I got an awesome truck. It looks great and had me at hello. I got the XSP 6'LB model and love all the features. just a couple quick questions for you guys.

Will putting a 2" lift void the warranty? If so, has anyone else had luck with getting the dealership to do it?

Why did they put leather seats and not install the heating element? I saw they had the option but can they install it or does it have to come with it?

How do you feel about the tonneau bed cover and what styles would you suggest and why?

I cannot sync the Entune because it says my vin is invalid???

They can't void your warranty by you putting a lift on. Unless they have proof that the said component was the cause of another part wearing out faster/breaking. Dealerships will install lifts just usually nothing too fancy. Heated seats is part of the technology package you can get. I have the Truxedo Truxport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover on my Taco. Easy install and keeps the rain out well. I have heard the OEM tonneau cover is kind of junky so I avoided wasting money on it. I would suggest taking your truck into the dealership to fix the Entune thing, mine works fine.

    Congrats

    1) Read the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Lots of dealership sell Tacomas that are lifted and brodozed by them. Heck they even finance the lift, tires, and and all that stuff.

    2) If you wanted heated seats, you needed Tech Package. You can get it installed aftermarket at upholstery shop.

    3) I think tonneau bed covers are ghetto. Unless you need it for security, I don't like the look of it. The OEM one looks like Chinese Walmart made. If it is a nice solid piece body colored, would look better.

    4) Dealer for Entune.
