Goddam......I’m all for scratches and dings, and stuff glued back together, and to use your stuff like intended, but that damage would cross the line for me. A hidden OCD side that I didn’t know I had would emerge with damages like those. I’d take your licks and pay to have it fixed up.

Good on yah for taking some risks in life regardless.

Jeebus. You call that "trail rash"? I hate to see what you'd consider to be actual damage.

    That thing is f'ed.

    Lol.

“I don’t mind the look of the damage on my brand new 40K truck.”

    Wait what...
    :bananadead:

Edit: “I plan on driving the truck into the ground”

    Or a tree.

    Glad you’re okay though OP.

Yup, I was going up a ~20 degree slope covered in about 3-6" of snow and turning to the right with the intent of driving along the side of the slope and then back down. The rear kicked out badly and I slid down the slope into a bunch of trees. I had drove the same line several times before, but snow is unpredictable and perhaps I was too complacent.

The one good thing is that I managed to recover without help. It required only a small bit of shoveling. I noticed today that both my 70lbs sands bags are on the downside of the bed. Hah!

Yikes! Get it fixed for sure bro, you're taking it a lot better than I have. Fyi my definition of trail rash is when your truck brushes against brush and twigs and it looks like a psycho ex Keyed it but you can rub it off with your finger...not so much in this case, it looks like a psycho ex took a baseball bat to it
