New wife or new house are the only options I see.

I will keep this thread up to date after the dealer looks at it or I find a solution

I'll be following, as it will be getting colder here eventually. New houses (and/or wives) are ridiculously expensive. Clutch fix has to be the reasonable answer.

On a side those temperatures sound horrible.

I'm freezing to death here in Califronia at 39 degrees.

Yeah but you have to live in a place where there's.... like people. I hate people way more than I dislike the cold.

Precisely. And I spend as much time as possible climbing, hiking and skiing, so this is one of the warmer places for those pursuits

I just talked with the dealer and I'm going to drop it off tonight so it can be sitting in their lot cold for the morning. I will report back with what they find tomorrow.

Good luck, looking forward to the diagnosis. I know the clutch slave on my moto has such a small orifice that it is extremely sensitive to contamination or wrong fluids, but I've never experienced that on a car or truck.

Mine seems sluggish after sitting out all night in the cold (prob. 10-15 deg.), but it warms up almost instantly and I don't notice it once I've driven a mile or two. Interested to hear what the dealer says.

I hope for their sake they do not say that.

Unlike many complaints of some certain vibration or sound, at some certain rpm and gear. It will be hard for the dealer to not see that a clutch pedal is sticking to the floor.

However you are probably correct in your assumption as to what there answer will be.

Dealer just called. Said they could definitely feel the problem with clutch performance first thing in the morning. It was 5° when I drove past the dealers lot this morning in my loaner vehicle.
They told me they were able to bleed some air out of the clutch system??? Wanted me to pick it up and try it for a couple of days and see if there was an improvement. I'll check back in with this thread in a couple of days.

interesting....i have 1000 miles on mine. lately it sits outside in 0-20 degrees F all night. i havnt had any issues with the clutch sticking or feeling slow when starting in the morning or thereafter. i do start it and let it warm up for around 5mins before driving anywhere bc i feel its hard on the engine/drivetrain if you dont. any thoughts on this? do you let yours warm up at all before driving? interested to see if bleeding the clutch system helps

Yeah I warm it up for 5-10 minutes. Kills my mileage but beats jumping into a zero degree truck. I will report back if the bleeding helps.

Heated seats are the best....Freeze your ass off for the first 3-5 minutes and then your behind is nice and toasty.
