My first Yota was an 80 4x4 long bed. I’ve always got an eye out for one. My buddy had the 85 4Runner. Sweet ride with the Chevy spring swap. Those old trucks go forever

Here's loading up after a day on the mountain. The parking lot was snowed in. All of this came down as we were riding back to the trucks. It was quite a scene watching all the front wheel drive cars trying to get out.

Otay mountain truck trail in San Diego today. Came close enough to the border you could see the wall.

Yes! We did the WBDR this summer. Started at the Canadian border and ended at Bridge of the Gods. Bethel ridge was pretty cool and reminded me of our mudding holes in high school

It’s the edge of a mesa that drops into a canyon. It’s pretty deep.

@Poncate , did you drop someone off for the pic in post #45, or did you walk some distance to take that. You guys out west have all the cool places to travel off road. Loved the time I spend in Colorado years ago in my 1982? toyota pickup truck 4x4.

I parked it and walked around. The photo makes it look farther away than it really was. I had a couple guys driving by ask if I was OK when they say me walking down the road. Thought that was pretty cool cause we were way out there
