I never realized how much flex a SAS truck has. impressive.

Soon to come is an RST rear 3 link so the rear will work like the front.

 

looking at that pic in post #61, you'd think the only thing holding the front solid axle on the truck is the Shocks!

I am curious about this photo you posted.



It reminds me a lot of the stage 5 section of Oregon BDR route we did last summer. Is it from the mountains south of Walla Walla (I can't recall their name)?

This is the place I am thinking of.

 

Yes it’s the in the Blue Mountains. I found out afterwards it’s part of the OBDR. We go up there quite a bit in the summer.

 

Thought so. It is an awesome road. Went from there all the way to Seneca on dirt. Saw lots of wildlife too. Couple of big herds of elk. Was an awesome trip.

Cool adventure and great looking truck! I like the black. I had to travel to pick up mine too but not that far

 

There's a pretty good story behind that picture.
I ended up on a motorcycle trail that the sign was knocked over and in the bush. I could see that other people had tried it also, there were broken mirrors and door trim scattered around like someone else had rolled over trying to get out.
I ended up tying off to a rock with a tow strap and come along to help keep me from rolling over. I got my truck pointed downward as you see in the picture. About 50 yards in front of us there is a fire road. We were clearing a path toward the road. It was raining so it made it that much better through the red clay and brush!
