Jeebus, that's spendy for essentially a stock replacement. I'm sure they're stronger, but I don't hear about too many people (no one, actually) bending their stock LCAs, though, so I'm not sure of the point of these unless you're just throwing money at your truck.

For this price, you might as well just go long travel.

Of course not, I was being facetious.

But when a Total Chaos long travel kit costs ~$2800, that's honestly not that far off.

At least with LT you get a bonafide difference in performance. If people were breaking stock LCAs left and right, I'd be first in line for these, but that isn't happening. There are only 2 primary times I hear people replacing their LCAs, one, obviously is long travel, but the other is just when people get scammed by their mechanic to replace the entire arm because their bushings are worn. The cost/benefit just doesn't seem to be there.

I agree with you the price is way up there. I would never buy that but they look nice.

I don't believe they require their spindles but they do make some good looking spindles (also expensive!). You can convert the LBJ to a uniball through something else they sell. There is another thread on here discussing this if I can find it.

I think (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), but you don't really NEED to replace your bushings unless your truck no longer stays in alignment. So the tech at the alignment shop will most likely be the person you should wait on to tell you if you need to replace them.

EDIT: Nevermind I see it's already been discussed. That being said, I wheel mine fairly regularly now and I am shocked when they say my truck is still in alignment afterwards (and I have 185k miles). If you are just driving on pavement and it's all out of whack, then yeah you should look into replacing the bushings!
