First Gen Prinsu Racks on Sale Today

This is a PSA and I wanted to pose a question.

My question, who's going to buy one and is it worth the investment? The double-cab rack is fairly new so I'm also curious who has one now and how the install was.

For me, that's a no, even at $600 for the double cab rack. They're nice quality and all, just seems like a lot for what it is.

 

Thanks for your input. I keep wrestling back and forth with it. I was waiting for a sale, but all in with shipping and accessories, it will run about $700. The big downside for me is that it needs drilling, so there's essentially no going back once it's on there.

 

I gotta say, if I were to get a rack, I'd drill. I've had bike racks on previous cars that clip around the rain gutter/door sill and they just aren't all that secure.

If you think about it, there are literally hundreds of holes in your body already, a few more aren't a big deal. If they're sealed properly, that is, lol...

 

Love these racks but not the price, for that price I could find a topper and have a custom made lo-profile rack built.
