Good morning guys, I've got to replace the wheel bearing on my 1st gen prerunner. I'm debating on how to do it. I'm trying to keep it inexpensive because I've got a baby on the way and money is tight these days. I have mechanical skills but no shop press. Ideally I'd like to keep from separating the hub from the chassis and press it in and out on the truck to save time. Should I buy the special tool to press the bearing in and out or take it to a shop/someone with a press? And is there anybody that would rent me the special tool in the NOVA area? I know I'm not a regular presence here, we can work out a deal to gain trust.
