Hey, I was wondering if anyone could tell me that had put 35’s on if they needed to cut anything else except for the fenders. I have a 2.5 inch lift on, and am wondering if I should do 35’s.

    Wheels, tires, lift
From what I’ve read, a lot more than fenders.

Pretty sure you also need a certain wheel backspacing and tub the firewall to an extent.

To do it right, i.e. get full suspension travel with correct alignment and no rubbing, yes you will need to tub the firewall, weld in a new firewall plate, and cut fenders and flares.

With low enough backspacing, usually 3” or less, with offset wheels and/or wheel spacers, you can avoid rubbing the frame at full steering lock. The lower the backspacing, the more you have to cut out of the firewall however.

    Lots of info here:

With enough cutoff wheels anything is possible!
