First impression on 16 Limited Tacoma

Picked up my new 16 Limited Quicksand Tacoma from the dealer on Saturday morning. I lucked out as I did not place an order, just found it browsing through dealerships in the area and was lucky enough get a deposit on it first.
With taxes, fees etc.. came out to be a about $40,600. This is my first Toyota, and pickup. Went from a VW Jetta. So far I'm in love.
Came with Chrome steps, chrome exhaust tip, mud guards, bed cover, all weather mats.
Wife thinks the steps should be placed a little lower for her, but oh well I like it.
Interior looks great, comfortable, everything is where it's supposed to be. Wireless charging works good. Seen some threads here that Note5 won't work with it, not true, charges just fine. It's actually easier because of the the Note' size you can pretty much place it anywhere on the pad for the charge to work. Smaller phones you have to adjust the placement.

Wheels are good, came in with 29PSI in each tire.
Sound systems sounds great, did not turn it up all the way yet.
Love the LED drl lights, going to install the retrofit Morimoto HIDs and fog lights in a few days.
Back windows come in tinted but not the front, that will be done in few days too.
Ride is smooth, takes corners at higher speeds just fine, wife freaks out says she doesn't feel safe going fast into corners, but believe me it seems safe when I'm driving.
Color is Quicksand, I love it, and getting positive feedback from other people that they like it too. Looks elegant. My army buddies nicknamed my truck, the MRAP.

I really like the interior, but there's something about the exterior that I don't like. Can't put my finger on it. Oh well, if you love it, that's all that matters.

At least it's not a Chevy.

Congrats and good luck with it - looks beautiful! From a Jetta to a 2016 Tacoma.... WOW that's a big jump there.

 

Love it. Haven't seen quicksand limited before. Those are great wheels. Not too flashy. This will be my next one with any luck.

 

I'd be interested to see a daylight pic with the exterior color seen with the hickory interior. Hard to see the color difference in your pics.

Haha the dog is running after my second dog (out of the pic). New house so no fence yet, and they're on 50foot runners.
