Hi fellow Taco owners. I just bought a 2019 TRD Sport dual cab short bed. My last Taco was a 2012 that I left bone stock. On my new Taco I am wanting to put 275/70-R17's on the TRD 4-Runner Pro wheels which seem to be very popular. I realize that the 265/70-R17 tires are the biggest recommended tires without any lifts. I would like to do a lift that will accommodate the 275's without rubbing and just give the truck a taller/beefier look without breaking the bank. What are my options for what I am looking to adding with bigger tires? I have read the stickies posted and learned a bit reading all the links. Appreciate any recommendations in advance!

You can just do a bilstein 5100 up front if you would like but the stock measurements on the tacoma is 21 inches up front and 22 inches. It doesnt take too much to fit a 275 but if you want to lift all away around is you can put the 5100 at a higher c clip setting and add a block or AAL in the rear and fit that tire size with no issues and call it a day.

I'm rarely off-road (fishing holes and to hunt camp) so I decided to add a 2" spacer in the front and a 1.5" block to the rear. I bought my set-up from supreme suspensions. Cost fit my budget and it was fairly easy to install. Not sure if it would accommodate 275/70-R17's without new UCAs or some trimming.

Thanks for the advice. That sounds like the way to go for what I am looking for.
