Great...I commented in another thread... and guessed correctly you chose the 100XR...
I have one comming...IMO the framed side glass is the best look for our gen II's

Did you get the free fold down front window?

I also ordered the Thule factory installed rails with inside gear net on the headliner...

    Looks good...

Ummm I just noticed the light on the inside of the shell isn't working. I am guessing it should be, or is there something special I need to do with it first?

EDIT: nevermind, just didn't have any batteries. I figured they would throw those in there, guess not.

Might be as simple as the terminal plugs got disconnected as the techs cinched the shell down. My connection was driver's side rear. Nice looking. How much, if you don't mind?

I'll have to eventually get one in Las Vegas.

At $1375 you beat my price...even though I got a "Free" flip down front window and added gear net...my window is not so free now...

    Oh well...

Well the front slider (stationary) was another $90 and install was $60, so $1525 total before tax.

Got it used for $1200 (came with a flip down front window, i think thats a $200 option). Replaced the broken tail light lens, gas cylinders, did some cleaning and wired it up myself. Not bad for half the price. Paint is in petty much perfect condition too.

OP (or someone else with a Leer), can i ask for a favor please? Do you mind posting a couple of photos of the little rubber flaps that go between the top corners of the tailgate and the shell?

Since I bought my shell used, one was ripped off and another one is super tight when i close the tailgate, to the point where i have to use both hands to open it. My glass shell door is pretty hard to close too. I need to spend some time adjusting it, maybe even add a couple of shims/more tape, because the guys I bought it from just threw the shell on and sent me on my way.

I have a 100XR too, how the hell do you lock it?? I swear I can only get the key to turn the handle and open the window. It makes no sense.

Make sure you push the key all the way in, I had the same issue, had mine installed Friday and I wasn't pushing the key all the way in.
Turn clockwise to lock, counter clockwise to unlock.

I bought the same canopy in Tacoma, WA after checking prices as far away as Portland. They beat all others and had a color matched ready to go. I de-badged that sticker off the back window, but do it carefully and use a heat gun on low heat if you go that way. The light should be/was hard wired to the 12v, no?
