My first mod is nothing to grandioso. I installed the grom devise for usb, IPOD, and line in, added the custom USB plugin in the panel piece where the airbag button sits on the regular cab.

Thank you epa4wd for your write up:

I have the 4WD so I placed mine on the passenger side.

The only problem I have is my dremel got a little happy and I have two nicks in my molding. Does anyone have the color code for this area so I can correct my mistake.

Very awesome! Doesn't look out of place or anything. It looks like every Tacoma should have it there!

Anyone know what the name of that piece where his USB adapter is officially called? And where I can order one? I'm looking for the one that goes on the left. Want to make a custom Ipod mount with it.

I don't have the color code, but made a similar mistake when installing an aftermarket head unit, believe it or not I just used a silver sharpie and it blended it in pretty well... Just be careful to only get the damaged area(s).

Let me know how it turns out. If you want I can take a photo of mine done tonight (out of town right now and in the wifes car) and can show you how it looks.
