Hello everybody. Just ordered my first new vehicle and it's a 17 DCSB TRDOR. First Tacoma for me but no stranger to off road or trucks. I have a Jeep Wrangler and an F250 on the mainland that unfortunately sits basically unused in storage. Decided I never really used or needed the full capability of that big of a truck so I'm downsizing to a more practical pickup as it's much more urban friendly.

I hope to take some notes from all of you veteran and fellow new taco owners and get ideas for the best upgrades. Thanks in advance for all your posts and great advice.

Welcome and congrats! Those 3rd gens are looking nicer and nicer the more I look at them. My 2010 Tacoma was my first new vehicle and first truck. Love it. I've also been looking at the Tundra's and other full size trucks because of the larger size and power, but when I think of how I've actually used my Tacoma over the last 6 years, it suits me just fine. Would just like some of the newer tech and features though.

Maybe I'll trade in for a new Tacoma one day but for now I'm enjoying mine!
Very reliable and fun to drive. The 2nd gen section on here has been a very good source of info for me as I've been trying to mod and fix things here and there. I'm sure the 3rd gen section will be too once they've been out a little longer.

    Enjoy your new Tacoma!
